UK-based Fugitive is rebranding to Arrested Industries and upping Merrily Ross (pictured left) to CEO of unscripted.
The decision will see Anthony Kimble (right), who founded the indie in 2019, relocate to Los Angeles this summer to run the new venture as CEO of scripted.
Ross, who joined the company in 2019, will operate out of the existing London base. She previously served as EVP of non-scripted content.
Kimble said in a statement: “While I was flying solo when I established Fugitive, I always had ambitions to develop the business rapidly — and these ambitions were turbo-charged when Merrily joined me as a partner. We now start the next phase in our story as a revitalised Arrested Industries, with focused scripted and unscripted divisions, healthy development slates in each, a growing catalogue of completed shows for distribution, an international sales team in place and new partnership ventures.”
